Jan Aushadhi Kendra (also called Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra – PMBJK) is a government-supported affordable medicine store that sells generic medicines and quality surgical products at much lower prices (about 50-90% cheaper than branded medicines) to help reduce healthcare costs for the public.

Jan Aushadhi Kendra is an initiative of the Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), implemented by the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.
